Who Do You Say I Am?

(Written by Sherry Anne Lints, Arya’s Song Music/BMI and Toni Jolene Clay, Yours For a Song/BMI 2018)

He walked out on the sea in Matthew fourteen

Restored a bleeding woman, crawling on her knees

He healed the lame and deaf and made the blind see

He died and rose again, the morning of day three

Jesus said to Thomas, “Touch me and believe”

“‘cause the only thing that matters to me… is…”

Chorus:

Who…Who do you say I Am?

Am I just a prophet

Or an ordinary man?

Do you believe I came to save the lost?

Will you follow me at any cost?

I want to know…Who Do You Say I Am?

He came to dwell among us as the Living Word

He taught the greatest teachings men had ever heard

He speaks the words of life and sets the captives free

He cast out demons, making evil spirits flee

Jesus is Messiah in Isaiah 53!

But the only thing that should matter to you and me… He asks

Chorus:

Who… Who do you say I Am?

Am I just a prophet

or an ordinary man?

Do you believe I came to save the lost?

Will you follow me at any cost?

I want to know… Who do you say I Am?

Bridge:

This same question is being asked of you

Do you believe He is faithful and true?

Will you deny His love for you? Will you deny Him and if you do,

He’ll say, to you, “It is YOU! I never knew!”

Chorus:

Who… Who do you say I Am?

Am I just a prophet

Or an ordinary man?

Do you believe I came to save the lost?

Will you follow me at any cost?

I want to know… Who do you say I Am?

….Who do you say, I Am!

Lord, I Hope This Day Is Good

(Written by Dave Hanner)

Lord, I hope this day is good
I'm feeling empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful Lord I know I should
But Lord I hope this day is… good

Lord, I hope this day is good
I'm feeling empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful Lord I know I should
But Lord I hope this day is good

Lord have you forgotten me
I've been praying to you faithfully
I'm not saying I've done all I can
But Lord I know you'd understand

I don't need fortune and I don't need fame
Send in the thunder Lord send down the rain
But when you’re planning just how it will be
Plan a good day for me

Lord, I hope this day is good
I'm feeling empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful Lord I know I should
But Lord I hope this day is good

You've been the King since the dawn of time
All that I'm asking is a little less crime
It might be hard for the devil to do
It would be easy for you

Lord, I hope this day is good
I'm feeling empty and misunderstood
I should be thankful Lord I know I should
But Lord I hope this day is good

Lord I hope this day is good

Lord I hope this day… is good

He Heals

(Written by Don Poythress, Integrity Worship Music; Jennifer Layne, Kinfolk Hollar Publishing)

I know you’re hurt
I know you’re angry
And I know you don’t understand
Why you’re here
How did this happen
How can this be part of His plan

I don’t know what He knows
So I can’t tell you why
But I know the love He shows
And His ways confound the wise and…

He heals
Broken hearts, broken bodies, broken minds
He heals
By His love, by His blood, and in His time

I know the pain
I know the waiting
And I know you feel all alone
There’s no words
To be spoken
That’ll make sense of it all

You may be standing in the rain
But the sun will shine again
You may not feel like it now
But He has you in the palm of His Hand and…

He heals
Broken hearts, broken bodies, broken minds
He heals
By His love, by His blood, and in His time

So don’t give up
Just hold on
You’ll find out
Before too long that…

He heals
Broken hearts, broken bodies, broken minds
He heals
By His love, by His blood, and in His time
